Upgrading the Servlet
To upgrade to a newer version of the Servlet, simply replace the old servlet ZIP file on the server with the newer copy. Restarting the server may be necessary.
Upgrading the Database
To upgrade to a old question database to a new version follow this procedure:
- Open a copy of the most current version of the Test Pilot database; any on will do.
- Make a new database by selecting Make New Database from the Script menu..
- Open the new, empty database.
- Select Upgrade Old Database from the Script menu. Locate the old database file and click to open it.
- That's all folks. All of the questions, preferences, styles and security selections from the earlier database will be imported into the new one.
