Back - Scoring Up - Administration Next - Access
The security information panel allows you to review the security options that you selected when you created the assessment.

You may choose to change the password by entering the old one and a new one twice. Then, click the Change Password button to make the change.

If you have provided a user list in order to restrict access to the assessment, the following additional options are shown:

  • a Completion Report button is offered to allow you to see if an individual has accessed the assessment and entered their responses. Below is a sample completion report.

  • an E-Mail Invitation button to allow you to send an email which automatically includes the assessment's URL to each participant in the user list..

  • a Special Cases button to allow you to make exceptions to the security setting on an individual basis.

Special Cases

If you have defined a list of authorized users, you may grant any user on that list the ability to bypass one of three security restrictions that you may have placed upon the assessment. You may grant security exceptions to:

  1. access the assessment from any workstation even if you restricted access to a particular set of workstations.

  2. access the assessment or submit response to the assessment over and beyond the number of submissions or requests permitted by defined limits

  3. access the assessment at any time regardless of time restrictions

When you click the Special Cases button, a list of users and a pop-up menu is shown along with three lists representing those users permitted to bypass a particular restriction.

Select users from the list by clicking or control/command clicking on their id(s), use the pop-up menu to choose the exceptions that you wish to grant, and click the update button.

To remove a user from a particular list, select their name, check the remove selected id's checkbox and click the update button.

Restriction exceptions remain in effect for as long as the participant's id is on a list. That is,

  1. you could grant an exception adding an id to a list,
  2. have the participant complete the assessment, and finally
  3. remove the id from the list restoring security restrictions.
