The Look and Feel Controls of the Test Pilot database control how the assessments generated by the web server component are presented to the user. The controls include:
- Headers & Footers - custom messages to appear at the top and bottom of web pages. You can also enter your assessment's instructions on this screen.
- Global Random Variables - unlike the local random variables used in mathematical formula-based fill in the blank questions, global random varables can be shared by multiple questions. This permits a range of questions to be offered refering to the same set of data.
- Color & Style - this gives you control over the text and background of the generated web pages. You can also have questions offered one-at-a-time as opposed to all at once.
- Editing Defaults - these options are time-saving conveniences for editing questions using Test Pilot's database.
