The Submission Handling controls in the database allow you to specify what to do when a user submits their responses to an assessment. The controls are divided into three areas:

• scoring - lets you determine how a user's responses are scored; whether feedback is return or whether their score is returned to them.
  
  
• feedback - once a user submits their responses, you can issue a custom message based on their score. You can even divert them to another web page depending upon their score.
  
  
• recall - you can let the user recall their responses and their evaluation at a later date. This could be used to allow you to manually score essay questions and then let users retrieve their score once you have completed scoring the submissions.
