The Scoring submission handling options lets you specify what information you wish returned to the user upon their submission of responses to an assessment.

• return score to user - users submissions, by default, are simply acknowledged with a thank you message. By checking this option, the evaluated score of their responses will also be returned. The message include the number of point awarded, the number of points possible and a percentage based on those values.
  
  
• return total correct - for some assessment applications it is appropriate to return a count of those questions for which full or partial credit has been awarded. By checking this option, a message with that count will also accompany the submission feedback.
  
  
• return correct answer - for some assessments, you may wish to inform the user of the correct answers to the questions so the user can study them. By checking this option, correct answers for all questions which were on the user's assessment will accompany the submission feedback.
  
  
• return feedback - each question may have customized feedback based on the user's response to the question (see Question Designing). By checking this option, that feedback will accompany the submission feedback.
