Section breaks are not questions and do not cause any data to be recorded. However, they serve a valuable purpose. Typical uses of section breaks include:
In addition to the common question definition controls, the options below offer specific control over section break presentation and evaluation.
You only need to enter headings if you are subsequently offering survey questions whose responses don't include labels. You may have any number of headings howver remember that horizontal space is limited on most participant's browsers. A space for entering a new heading is always provided. To add a choice, simply enter the data into the new choice box and click the update button. To delete a choice, check the choice's delete checkbox and click the update button. Help is Available! Please note that, at any time while you are editing an assessment, you can click upon the titles of the fields listed for your entries. If you do so, a popup window with an explanation of the items use and features will be shown. Saving your Changes - Don't forget to Update It should be noted that on the editing panels, you will see one or more Update buttons. Whenever you adjust a setting or make changes to any item, you must click an update button to record the changes. You may make multiple changes and then click Update, but if you fail to click the update button, your changes may not be recorded. |
