Click on any of the duties listed above to learn how to perform them or read each overview below to familiarized yourself with the administrative options available.
Authorized Authors - more detail To author assessments using Test Pilot, the author must be added to Test Pilot's list of internal authors. Only authors in the list are permitted to author a Test Pilot assessment. Assessment Indices - more detail
Each Test Pilot author may be assigned an assessment index from where they may manage their work. Authors may freely create and delete information from their assessment indices without the intervention of the Test Pilot administrator. An assessment index allows an author to create, change, delete and otherwise manage: Authorized Participant Lists - Public - more detail Both Test Pilot assessments and assessment indices may be secured from general access with a list of authorized participants. This means that unless the participant is using an authorized id, they would be prevented from accessing the assessment or assessment index. Assessments may have a private list. Assessment indices may contain shared lists which one or more assessments may share. Finally, Test Pilot administrators may define public participant lists which may be used in any assessment or assessment index in the Test Pilot network. This allows the administrator to maintain, if desired, a set of centralized participant lists usable by any author. Authorized Workstation Lists - Public - more detail Both Test Pilot assessments and assessment indices may be secured from general access with a list of authorized workstation internet addresses. This means that unless the participant is using an authorized workstation, they would be prevented from accessing the assessment or assessment index. Assessments may have a private workstation list. Assessment indices may contain shared lists which one or more assessments may share. Finally, Test Pilot administrators may define public workstations lists (e.g. a list of computer labs) which may be used in any assessment or assessment index in the Test Pilot network. This allows the administrator to maintain, if desired, a set of centralized workstation lists usable by any author. Public Library- more detail Test Pilot Enterprise v4.1 introduced the concept of a public assessment library. The library is a tree structured directory where assessments are the leaves that test authors may check out. The Test Pilot administrator maintains this tree building catalogs and subcatalogs and promoting any author's assessment into the catalogs. |
