Quite often, it is desirable to send out reminder messages or survey invitations to groups of participants in online activities such as Test Pilot. Test Pilot accommodates these needs by permitting the creation of generic predefined messages allowing authors to send them to all participants on any shared or public user list. The message can be customized to include links to any assessment on an index. In fact, these messages can be used for any kind of group announcements.
Creating New E-Mail Messages To create a new predefined e-mail message, enter a subject for the message in the space provided and click the New button. Deleting Predefined E-Mail Messages To delete a message, check the enable deletion checkbox and click the appropriate Delete button. Sending a Message To send any predefined message, select a user list to whom the message will be sent from the popup menu provided and click the appropriate Send button. Editing a Message To edit a message, simply click upon its title link in the e-mail message list. A dialog as follows will be shown:
You may edit the subject and enter a message in the space provided. After any changed, be sure to click the Update Message button. You may have Test Pilot optionally include a link to or the participant's score for a selected assessment. To do so, choose link to or score for from the popup menus provided. Be sure to click the Update Message button if you make any changes. |
