You may have Test Pilot maintain a list of events on your assessment index web page. These could be online events including a link to a Test Pilot assessment or an announcement or reminder about an offline event.

Each event is associated with a particular date and may appear on the generated index page for a specific period of time (between the start and stop dates). An event may optionally include a link to a Test Pilot assessment.

Creating New Events

At the end of existing event entries is the entry for editing. To add a new event, make your selection on this blank entry, enter any custom message, select an assessment from the provided popup if you wish a link created, and click the New button.

date - the date of the actual event, used to sort the event entries

start - the date on which the event entry will begin appearing on the index

end - the date after which the event entry will no longer appear on the index

link to - the assessment title of the assessment associate and linked to the event

Changing Events

To change an event entry, first click on the event's message in the list of events. This will cause the event to be listed in the editing area. Then, simply make the changes and click the Update button.

Deleting Events

To delete an event, click on its associated Delete button, after first checking the enable deletion checkbox.
