Assessments - more detail Authors may create, delete and otherwise manage any number of assessments. They may choose which, if any, of those assessments are to be shown as links on participant views of the index. Shared User Lists - more detail As administrators may create lists of user id's and passwords for access control which may be used by any author in the Test Pilot network, an author can create shared lists of their own. These lists may be used by any assessment in the author's assessment index. They provide an easy means to grant sets of users access to multiple assessments. Shared Computer Lists - more detail As administrators may create lists of computer workstation addresses for access control which may be used by any author in the Test Pilot network, an author can create shared lists of their own. These lists may be used by any assessment in the author's assessment index. They provide an easy means to limit access to specific sets of computers (e.g. a computer lab). E-Mail Messages - more detail Authors may predefine e-mail messages that may be sent to participants for a variety of reasons. Typical uses include inviting participants to a test ot survey or issuing reminders for other reasons. Gradebooks - more detail When managing multiple assessments, it is often desirable to collect scores in a gradebook. Test Pilot allows author to define multiple gradebooks for any list of users. It also includes the ability to record and maintain entries for scored activities other than online assessments. Event Lists - more detail As assessments may be offered at specific times, Test Pilot provides authors with the capability of posting a schedule of events, optionally including links to online assessments. The author can completely schedule their course activities with any event only appearing on the Test Pilot index at selected times. Events may or may not be online events at the author's discretion. Preferences - more detail Authors may define custom names and instructions/welcome messages for assessment indices. |
