Shared Computer Lists
v4.2 and earler
(later versions)
Back - Shared User Lists Up - Index Mgmt Next - E-Mail Messages

Each Test Pilot assessment index and assessment has an associated list of computer workstation addresses which may be used to control access for security purposes. An empty computer list implies open access. The administrator can create and manage public lists which can be used by any index or assessment in the Test Pilot network. Authors may create their own shared lists which can be used by any assessments in their index.

Listed are shared computer lists, public computer lists and the index's private computer list.

A Shared Computer List is a list that may be used by any assessment in the assessment index. It is editable by the assessment index's owner and their delegate managers.

A Public Computer List is a list maintained by the Test Pilot administrator that can be used by any author in the Test Pilot network for any assessment. It is only editable by the administrator.

The index's computer list controls who may access the index's general URL.
